24th International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry

Agroprodmash is a number one trade show in the food processing industry in Russia. For visitors' convenience and efficiency, the trade show is divided into 19 salons featuring equipment and ingredients for 30 sectors of the food industry. This year's main trend is digitalisation and robotics.

"Agroprodmash ranks in the top ten of Europe's largest food processing shows and promotes international cooperation and upgrade of food processing equipment in Russia. I am positive that a series of supporting events will help to identify the growth points of the Russian agriculture industry, strengthen international cooperation and establish contacts among market players."

Show Highlights

The Germany national pavilion will occupy 1,600 sq m to accommodate 47 companies which will show equipment for almost all sectors of the food processing industry such as meat, poultry and fish processing, confectionery and bakery, thermal processing, slicing, packaging and storage.

The Italy pavilion will have 17 companies including ANIMA - the Italian Association of Machinery and Equipment for Production, Processing and Food Preservation. This year Italian organisers have analysed demands of the Russian market and brought equipment for fruit and vegetable processing, production of mozzarella, pasta, sugar cones, and lines for bottling, packaging, thermal processing and automation.   

The showcase of Taiwan has doubled its figures in comparison to 2018. There are also more Chinese companies in the packaging sector of the exhibition.  

Russian Export Center is compensating some expenses for participation of 55 Russian companies which take part in this programme for manufacturers of food and food processing machinery.

The figures of APM Ingredients, APM Packaging, APM FruitMash, APM Food Hygiene have increased the most.  

The largest salons APM MeatTech and APM PoultryTech bring together 170 companies from 19 countries. Major equipment manufacturers from Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the USA and other countries will demonstrate their latest solutions and equipment. The exhibitors include Albert Handtmann, GEA, Provisur, Hartmann, Agrovo, JBT, Meyn food technology, Marel, Cabinplant, Jarvis, Foodmate, Frontmatec, Grasselli, etc. Newcomers include  Auctions bv (Belgium), which specializes in electronic bidding for equipment for meat, poultry and fish processing, Lima SAS (France), F.A.C.E.M (Italy), such Russian companies as Orenklip, Robotox, Meln, Raskat, Spectechnology-Agro, Rus-Industry, Promreshenie and others, and several companies from Belarus.

APM Ingredients is the largest and even unique showcase of this type in Russia. About 100 leading foreign and Russian manufacturers from 25 countries take part in the event this year. All key exhibitors came back this year. New participants include both foreign companies such as BDF Natural Ingredients (Spain), Symrise, Benefit Ocean Technology, Neofood GmbH and others, and Russian Aminosib, Upper Volga Brick Factory (VVKZ), Dykat, Crown Product, House Aromatic, Fine Ingredients, Ingprom, etc.  

APM Packaging welcomes about 140 companies from 19 countries. It offers not only packaging equipment but also robotics and automated lines. The exhibitors include Air Liquide, Amata Scale, Bestrom, Georg Polymer, Gruppo Fabbri, G.Mondini, Linde Gas, Wipak, Ilapak, Ilpra, Integral Plus, Ishida Europe, Ixapack Global, Label Group, Multivac, Notis, Protectpack, Sealed Air, Schur Flexibles, Suedpack, Tavil, Tauras-Fenix, Ulma Packaging, Forintek, etc.   

APM Bakery and APM SweetTech are growing steadily year on year. This year, the exhibitors come from more than 140 companies from Austria, Czechia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK. The key participants are Voskhod, Sverdlovsk Experimental Mechanical Plant, Shebekinsky Machine-Building Plant, Nizhegorodsky Khleb, Tver Plant of Food Equipment, Tehlen, Rondo Rus, Miwe, Rieckermann, Dito Group, Equipment Solutions Vostok, Favorit-Techno, J4, Copvest Service, Elinox, Mossa Engineering. The newcomers include Rademaker B.V., Dovaina, Record Srl, Spraying Technologies, Panemor Makina, etc. Some companies, such as Air-Bake, came back after a long absence.

APM Food Hygiene has grown 14% over the last three years. This year salon welcomes more than 40 companies including IVS Technology, Saneq Technology, Karcher, Technology of Cleanliness, AgroPischeProm, Chistozor, Grass TH, etc. The newcomers are Komus, Technoavia, Dezon, Neohim, Motornye Tekhnologii (Russia), Haug Bursten (Germany), Clean Access (Poland). Astari will demonstrate Italian equipment. The showcase includes detergents, cleaning equipment and devices.

APM Waste Treatment offers a lot of innovative exhibits this year. The exhibitors include such well-known companies as ABONO Group, Nijhuis Industries, NaftaEco, Mavitec. The latest solutions will be demonstrated by such newcomers as Atlas-Mash (Russia) and Colubris Cleantech B.V. (the Netherlands).

The number of exhibitors in APM FruitMash has significantly increased. It linked to the growing demands for solutions for fruit and vegetable processing. There are companies from nine countries this year.    

APM DairyTech, APM Bottling and APM DrinkMash are also bigger this year. Their participants are Index-6, Milkylab, Kieselmann, Slavutich, Gigamash, Iteco, Voronezhprodmash, Moscow State Agro Engineering University, Selmash Dairy Machines,  Pet Technologies, Tsvet, Pumpunion, Zond-Pak, Festo RF, Profitex, Effektivnaya Technika, Habasit, Avis, Lenprodmash, Flottweg Moscow, etc.

APM Refrigeration has more new foreign exhibitors this year. The salon welcomes companies from six countries: China, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia and Turkey. The largest exhibitor is Guntner from Germany. There are more companies from Italy this year. They include Decsa, Isopan, Evroclima and Zudek. The foreign newcomers are Unidex (Poland) and Moon Environment Technology Co., Ltd (Moon Tech Co., Ltd, China). The Russian exhibitors include leading manufacturers of industrial refrigerating plants such as Cryotec, TexnoFrost, Thermocool, Industrial Refrigeration Systems (Promyshlennye Kholodilnye Sistemy), Tehnologii Holoda, ProfHolod, Nord-SM.  

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project, aimed at helping to minimize counterfeit products showcased at exhibitions and illegal copying of new exhibits, is located in Pavilion No.2, Hall 1, Stand 21D90.

The Employment Centre is open in Pavilion No.2, Hall 1, Stand 21B28. It enables the Prodexpo participants and visitors to get a free consultation on the labour market and career development.

The Counselling Centre for Refrigeration Technology. The Rossouyzkholodprom experts will consult energy efficient refrigeration in the agriculture industry and introduction of the latest equipment and technology solutions. The Centre is open in Pavilion No.2, Hall 2, Stand 22E10. 

The Counselling Centre for Ingredients of the Food Ingredients Producers Union will be located in Pavilion No.7, Hall 5, Stand 75C98. The Counselling Centre for Confectionery Industry of the Research Institute of Confectionery Industry will be arranged in Pavilion No.8, Hall 2, Stand 82D65.

Events

The key topics of 2019 are digital technologies, robotics for food production, lean manufacturing, innovative technologies for the meat and dairy industries, fruit and vegetable processing, refrigeration solutions for the food industry, safe working environment and others.

One of the main events is the Digital Agroindustry Forum 2019 devoted to IT solutions, digital transformation of the agriculture industry, unique identifiers (RFID, IButton), etc. It is organised by the Digital Economy Development Fund and supported by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

One more important event is the 3rd Forum on Food Processing Machinery 2019, organised by the Rosspetsmash Association and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Food Ingredients Producers Union invites all professionals working in the ingredients sector of the industry to take part in the Food Technologist School. ProIngredients.
