Press release: Agroprodmash'2009 International Exhibition
October 12-16, 2009 “Agroprodmash-2009” - the 14th International Exhibition for Equipment, Machinery and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry will take place in pavilions No. 2, 3, 8 and the Forum pavilion of the Expocentre Fairgrounds.
“Agroprodmash” is the largest exhibition projects in Russia where leading world manufacturers offer the latest scientific and technical achievements, advanced technologies, modern machinery and equipment for the food and processing industry enterprises.
The Agroprodmash Show organized by Expocentre with the assistance of the Russian Federation Agriculture Ministry reflects the food and processing industry state and development trends. The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Government, the Board of Chief Executives of the CIS member states Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
“Agroprodmash” is a recognized leader among the Russian exhibitions on similar subjects and is included in top ten leading European industrial shows. The high standard of organization of the exhibition and its contribution to the industry development is confirmed with honorary labels of the International exhibition community: the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The world crisis became affecting the consumer market and the industrial production in October 2008. The “Agroprodmash-2008” exhibition inspired hope in that there were industries in Russia able to withstand the crisis. The results of the last year’s Show not only sent a challenge to the economic crisis affected a great deal of industries, but made it clear that there were some production sectors including the equipment manufacturing for the food and processing industry able to resist negative market trends and, possibly, to become a basis for the economical upturn next cycle.
The relevance and forward looking potential of the exhibited technologies and equipment is a main feature of “Agroprodmansh-2009”. At this exhibition sections of all branches of the food and processing industry will be combined into a single exposition.
The equipment exhibited at “Agroprodmash” is of great importance for 30 branches of the food industry. The production profitability, its competitive ability and the life quality of people engaged in the industry depends on equipment - the main production factor.
The significant development of the market for utility, component units and materials for the food industry has been observed recently.
The “AGROPRODMASH-COMLEKT-2009” exhibition-salon will be held for the first time within the bounds of “Agroprodmash-2009”. Component units and materials for the food industry; tubing, metal and fittings; stop valve, pipe-line equipment; industrial enterprise water-supply systems, water treatment and water conditioning systems; pumps and pumping equipment will be exhibited there.

EVENTS WITHIN THE SALON BOUNDS

The 2nd International investment forum and a conference – “The Russian Food Industry: development peculiarities and attraction of investments during the economic crisis” organized by The Russian Federation Agriculture Ministry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will take place within the bounds of the Exhibition.
Furthermore, the 4th All-Russian Technological Forum – “Antirecessionary solutions for the food industry technologies and equipment” will be held by the Imperia Company. The purpose of the Forum is to provide enterprises with necessary knowledge and instrument in order to choose and to apply modern technological solutions in the complicated economic situation. The programme comprises the following: 6 subject focus-sessions; 5 panel discussions and round tables; 30 lectures by the industry experts – top managers of leading companies, presidents of the industry unions and associations.
This year the following events will be held within the bounds of “Agroprodmash-2009”: technical seminar – “Cold Supply Technologies for the Agroindustrial Complex; the International contest - the “Best Equipment for the Agroindustrial Complex”; conferences, presentations of companies-participants and a number of other ones.
