Sergey Bednov, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO

"The exhibition was held at a difficult time for the economy of Russia and many other countries, which had found themselves in a pandemic. Despite all this, Agroprodmash 2020 took place with enough success. It is proved by the show's key statistics, and feedback of the exhibitors, visitors and partners. What is really important is that Agroprodmash 2020 showcased quite a lot of equipment and machinery. Despite all the difficulties, many exhibitors brought real machinery and not just advertising leaflets about their products. The event programme was also very rich. Every day there were some workshops, conferences and forums. Once again we have proved that face-to-face networking and live demonstrations can never be replaced by online alternatives."

The participants in the official opening ceremony included President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Chuvash Republic Petr Chekmarev, Director of the ICE Moscow Representative Office Francesco Pensabene, President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky, Executive Director of the National Union of Meat Processors Ekaterina Luchkina, President of the Food Ingredients Producers Union Tatiana Savenkova, and other.

According to the speakers, EXPOCENTRE has managed to prepare a very respectable exhibition despite the current situation. The presence of Russian companies showcasing new technologies and developments indicates a good preparation in this regard. Foreign companies have also brought their equipment, which is an opportunity to see and compare products that are made in Russia and abroad.

After the opening ceremony, the Russian Dairy Union and the Veterinary and Life federal information periodical of Rosselkhoznadzor signed a partnership agreement on information cooperation. It was truly one of the landmark events for many exhibitors.
