This year, Agroprodmash exhibition will be held in a new location in the spacious halls of Pavilion 3 of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center. A comfortable working atmosphere will create all the necessary prerequisites for exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition to generate new business contacts, continue mutually beneficial partnerships, discuss promising ideas for cooperation, new projects, conclude mutually beneficial agreements, and create a basis for further growth of the industry.

Agroprodmash annually proves the effectiveness of face-to-face business networking and the great potential for generating new contacts. In many ways, this is the platform where a company's image and attitude towards the products it offers are formed. Sometimes, customer requests formulated at the stand during the exhibition days, one way or another influence the formation of the development strategy of participating companies for at least a year.

The systemically important APM MeatTech throughout the history of Agroprodmash has given impetus to the exhibition exposition, reflecting key trends in the food processing industry. It is the meat industry in the modern history of the Russian food industry that has become a powerful driver for the development of the domestic market of technologies and equipment and, accordingly, initiated the formation of many APM sectors, including ingredients and additives, packaging materials and equipment, solutions for sanitation and hygiene, IT, automation, robotics, logistics and warehousing, industrial refrigeration, etc.

The exhibition section devoted to equipment and solutions for the meat industry is among the largest to date. This year, APM MeatTech will bring together at least 120 participants from Russia, Belarus, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Thailand, Turkiye, and other countries. In recent years, the sector has demonstrated that domestic equipment manufacturers and engineering companies have significantly built up their positions. At the same time, the exposition will include products from leading global brands, including from Italy, Poland, the USA, etc. Once again it will become a place of concentration of production experience, advanced know-how and promising ideas for implementation in meat processing industries. The participants include such companies as ANTES, BEGARAT-M, Weber Rus, Grasselli NFS, Peja International, NHL, Jarvis, Intermik-Rustech, Compo, Laska Rus, Marelec, MP-Technologies, OrenKlip, Reich, Russkaya Bronya, TechnoClip, Handtmann Machine Factory, Unity Engineering, etc.

The quality and scale of APM MeatTech and Agroprodmash in general have been of great practical interest for many years among professionals and managers of not only domestic meat processing plants, but also industry professionals from neighboring countries. Moreover, the geography of visitors is becoming more and more extensive year after year. This event also attracts both regular and new participants that are interested in disseminating their solutions in the very demanding and expertly developed Russian market.

At the same time, Agroprodmash and, in particular APM MeatTech, provide professionals and investors with answers to many questions that have become relevant in different periods of development of the Russian agriculture industry. They contribute to the increase of competencies and, ultimately, to the sustainable development of the Russian meat industry, which plays a key role in ensuring the country's food security.

Head of the the National Meat Association of Russia Sergey Yushin says that meat consumption in Russia has broken a record, reaching 83 kg per person (50 kg in 2005), exceeding the average in developed countries. According to the expert, high demand for meat will remain in 2025 due to its economic availability.

The successful development of the Russian meat industry has resulted in its growing expansion into foreign markets. According to the Agroexport Federal Center, by the end of 2024, Russia increased meat product exports in physical terms by 27%, to 876 thousand tons, in monetary terms by 25%, to USD 2 billion. According to the forecast of the Center's head Ilya Ilyushin, by 2030, Russia's meat product exports may exceed USD 3.8 billion, including USD 1.5 billion worth of poultry meat and USD 1.3 billion worth of pork. In total, Russia supplies meat products to more than 90 countries around the world.

The industry development dynamics is ensured by high investment activity and government support. Thus, General Director of the National Union of Swine Breeders Yuri Kovalev says that according to the industry strategy, it is planned to increase pork production by 1 million tonnes in live weight in the next five years. To achieve this figure, preferential investment loans in the amount of 100 billion rubles will be required, and total investments will reach 160 billion rubles.

APM MeatTech is traditionally distinguished by a wide coverage of the most relevant and in-demand solutions for various scales of production. They include equipment for slaughtering cattle and poultry, processing offal, cutting meat, storing and packaging raw materials, a wide range of machines for deep processing of raw materials and meat processing, etc.

The sector will reflect current consumer trends, including those related to the expansion of the product range, the production of niche products, for example, according to the halal standard, ready-made food, including semi-finished meat products, distinguished by the convenience of packaging, packing, cutting, preparation and use, etc., as well as taking into account the popularization of e-commerce formats.
