A discussion platform "Poultry and Egg Processing. Success via Effective Solutions: Practical Approach, Scientific Innovations, Legal Regulations" continues its work at the Agroprodmash 2020 international exhibition. It is organised by the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Poultry Processing Industry (VNIIPPI) with support of EXPOCENTRE AO.

For the first time the dialogue of managers and professionals of poultry farms and poultry processing enterprises, representatives of scientific and business community was held last year at Agroprodmash 2019 and aroused great interest. The organisers managed to attract participants to an active discussion and exchange of views on the processing of poultry products, its competitiveness, efficiency and safety of innovative development of enterprises.

This year the moderators of the discussion became Director of VNIIPP Vladislav Budrik and Director General of Rospitsesoyuz (the Russian Poultry Union) Galina Bobyleva. The head of the leading industry union spoke about the prospects for the development of poultry farming and poultry processing in modern conditions, noting that the Russian agro-industrial complex was almost not affected by the pandemic. According to the expert, the main negative factor for the industry is the devaluation of the ruble, which significantly affected the cost of production. Evaluating the prospects for export of poultry and eggs, Galina Bobyleva stressed that, given the current production volumes, its growth may negatively affect the satisfaction of domestic needs.

Director General of Roskar Poultry Farm AO Maksim Zhemchuzhnikov has shared experience of successful work of the modern poultry factory.

During the discussion there were considered problems and opportunities of domestic poultry farming, development of its export potential, safety issues of poultry products, practical aspects of veterinary and sanitary measures in the processing of poultry, introduction of robotic technologies and modern packaging solutions at poultry processing enterprises and many other relevant topics.

The discussion was attended by representatives of Rospitsesoyuz, VNIIPP, Damate Group, Galichskoe AO, ATL OOO, Cherkizovo Group, YAKSAWA Europe Holding, Omron and other companies.
