Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachyov congratulated the Agroprodmash exhibition on its 20th anniversary and sent a welcome address to the show participants, visitors, and organisers.

In his welcome address Alexander Tkachyov emphasises the importance of the trade show which is a reputable event for the industry experts. The aim of the show is to ensure the country’s food security and facilitate upgrading of food facilities.

“Agroprodmash brings together food equipment manufacturers and agricultural processers and promotes the development of Russia’s food processing industry. The show responds to import substitution challenges and contributes to upgrading of Russia’s agribusiness”, pointed out the Minister.

The 20th anniversary edition of the Agroprodmash exhibition will run at Expocentre Fairgrounds from October 5 through 9. The event is organised by Expocentre ZAO and supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The exhibition runs under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The trade fair covers all sectors of the food industry including equipment for processing meat, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables, equipment for production of dairy products, beverages, and sauces as well as confectionary and bakery technology, packaging and refrigerating equipment, and logistic solutions.

The exhibition area is to amount to over 60,000 sq m. The participants in the show are about 700 exhibitors from 30 countries. More than 20,000 industry experts from all Russian regions and 60 countries are expected to visit the trade show.
