All about fruit and vegetable processing

The conference programme of the Agroprodmash 2021 exhibition continued with the 8th Annual Conference on Raw Materials, Equipment and Technologies for Fruit and Vegetable Processing. It was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the FruitNews Information Agency.

Opening the event, Director General of the FruitNews Information Agency Irina Kozy said that the topics of today’s conference came from the rural farms. “The fact is that some of the products of our enterprises cannot be sold fresh," said Irina Kozy, "They need to be processed. That is, to open a new processing business. So today we will look at how to set up our own processing company. How to use fruit raw material, and in what form the industry needs it".

The conference dealt with numerous questions related to various forms of fruit and vegetable processing. How to set up a modern beverage enterprise using natural fruit and berries. Opportunities for cider and beer production using Russian fruit and berries. Own fruit freezing on the farm; the complexities of simple production. Kraft berry confectionery products; problems of raw material selection and product sales. New trends in fruit and vegetable processing and packaging; solutions for farms of different sizes.

The conference participants gained practical information useful for implementing ideas for processing their products.
