Anniversary Agroprodmash 2015 shows all sectors of food processing industry

Expocentre opened the doors of the 20th edition of the International Exhibition for Machinery, Equipment and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry Agroprodmash 2015. Expocentre organizes this anniversary edition with support from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Moscow City, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly Vladimir Vasilyev, Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Aleksandr Petrikov, Chairman of the Committee on Industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergey Sobko, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Council of the Federation Committee for Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management Sergey Lisovsky, State Secretary – Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Alexander Torshin, Advisor to the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Gubernatorov,  and General Director of Expocentre ZAO Sergey Bednov.

At the opening ceremony Sergey Bednov announced that the total area of Agroprodmash 2015 exceeded 61,000 square meters. This year it welcomes more than 700 companies from 31 countries of Europe, Asia and America. China, Denmark, Germany and India have national pavilions.

For the sake of visitors and exhibitors’ convenience and working efficiency, Agroprodmash has a salon-like arrangement. 16 salons showcase new products for 30 sectors of the food processing industry and the whole manufacturing cycle from processing technologies and machinery, ingredients, quality control to packaging, cooling and storage of foodstuffs and beverages. 

As usual the exhibition features a lot of associated events. Key topics of 2015 include import substitution in the meat industry, innovative technologies in the dairy industry and fruit and vegetable processing, and energy efficiency and cost optimization solutions for production facilities.

Agroprodmash 2015 will run till October 9.
