Participants of the 4th International Meat Congress Will Discuss Lean Production Tools

The Congress will be held as part of the Agroprodmash 2014 exhibition on October, 8 at the Press Hall of the Expocenter Congress Center.
This event is included into the exhibition’s business-related program and will be organized by the Gorbatov All-Russian Research Institute of Meat Industry.
The Congress participants will share their ideas concerning lean production tools, as well as economic efficiency and competitiveness on the meat processing market. The event will be attended by the heads and representatives of meat processing companies, technicians and technologists, scientists, market analysts, purchasing agents and suppliers of raw materials. The participants will discuss food legislation, technical regulations in meat industry, products safety and competitiveness.

Nowadays, the conditions in the industry are constantly changing, and quality requirements are tending to become stricter. The quality of goods or services mainly depends on the measures enterprises take to produce their products according to modern methods and the latest technologies in the field of quality assurance. Lean production is a market-oriented management concept focused on business process optimization and taking into account each employee's individual motivation. Lean production is the basis for a new management philosophy.

The main objective of such production is to render high quality services, providing the highest quality at the lowest cost.

In addition, the All-Russian Research Institute of Meat Industry and the organizer of Agroprodmash 2014 are going to arrange a number of industry competitions, the winners of which will be awarded during the exhibition.
On October, 9 at 12.00 in Pavilion No.1 (Stand 1E80) a competition among boning professionals will be held.
