The Agroprodmash’2013 international exhibition has been highly commended by industry professionals.

According to Nikolai Pankov, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Agriculture, the Agroprodmash is one of the 10 leading European trade shows dedicated to farming and agribusiness in terms of scale, which reflects key trends in the global agribusiness.

The organizers of the show created favourable conditions for effective meetings and negotiations. Among the central events of Agroprodmash’2013 were the conference of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on the National Agriculture Development Programme, the 8th International Dairy Forum, the 3rd International Meat Congress, prestigious competitions, master classes, exhibitors’ presentations and other important professional events.

Welcoming the delegates to the 3rd International Meat Congress, Deputy Director of Expocentre ZAO Mikhail Tolkachyev pointed out to a deep correlation between the display and the programme of the show and stressed that Agroprodmash’2013 - with its 770 exhibitors from 35 countries - was a natural environment for this kind of prominent professional events.

Numerous specialists from Russia and other countries who attended the show were satisfied to note that the show - as well as its quality - continued to grow.

The total show floor of the show made up 23,000 sqm net. Among the national pavilions presented at the show the largest belonged to Germany. According to Judith Kons, Head of the Department for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Russia, Agroprodmash’2013 provided an opportunity for 51 German manufacturers to showcase their latest technologies and equipment, as well as strengthen existing and establish new business contacts. Ms Kons also said that she was impressed by the display of the show and thanked the organizers of Agroprodmash’2013 for their brilliant work.

Agroprodmash’2013 for the first time ever featured the National Pavilion of Denmark. China attended the show with the National Pavilion that was three times larger than at the previous edition of the show. France and Spain returned to the show with their National Pavilions. It was the first time that the Agroprodmash exhibition had welcomed exhibitors from New Zealand.

Russia was represented by more than 400 companies and manufacturing plants.

The 16 thematic salons of the show presented - via life demonstrations - the entire production cycle from the processing of raw ingredients through to the packed end product.

As was noted by many exhibitors and professional visitors including heads of companies, representatives of industry associations, production engineers, engineers, dealers, potential consumers and investors, the show gave them lots of ideas for new projects and business solutions.
